INVICT/US is a magazine about divergent worlds. It explores differently experienced realities through the lens of humanity’s artifacts. A bold and welcomed distraction from the mundane. But also a staging ground for the recastings of the banal. It is vividly different, from content to format, and seeks to form a counterpoint to traditional ‘arts and culture’ journalism. It’s a magazine with a keen interest in overlapping topics and the potential for new discourse by way of innovative collaborations. As kids we were told never tell the left hand what the right hand is doing, basically things that are separate should be kept that way. But what if we ignore that, what could one hand stand to gain through collaboration with the other? Only by breaking pre-existing divides and delving deep to examine hidden undercurrents can a new and universally-sustainable future be imagined.
